Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture. Stir in the popcorn, chocolate chips and pecans. The popcorn gives the cookie a definite chew. I was talking with Deb about these cookies and she suggested they be made with microwave popcorn!

Instructions to make Popcorn Cookies:

1. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture. Sir in popcorn, chocolate chips and pecans.
2. Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 350° for 13 to 14 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to wire racks to cooks.
3. Makes 2 1/2 dozen
