Steps to make Meat pie:
  1. In a bowl sift flour, add baking powder,salt and sugar and stir. Crack in the eggs and add the butter. Give it a nice mix.gradually add water bit by bit until a dough is achieved (not too hard). Knead for about 10mins and cover for 7-10mins. Set aside.
  2. In a pan add 2 tablespoons veg oil and Head. Add sliced onions and fry till translucent. Add minced meat and stir. Fry till meat turns light brown. add salt, maggi,curry,thyme and little mixed spices. Stir well and add in your diced carrots and Irish potatoes. Stir for 3mins and then add 1 cup cold water. Stir and allow to cook till water absorbs almost completely. Mix 2 tablespoons flour with some water and pour into the pot. Reduce heat and stir for 1min.
  3. Remove from heat and allow to cool completely. Now bring out the meat pie dough and knead. Make small flat balls and roll. Place on a meat pie cutter then fill as desired. Cut out excess dough and repeat process till you're done. Arrange on a greased baking tray and egg wash. Bake in a preheated oven till golden brown. Enjoy!
