Make ready 3 cups full cream milk
Prepare 2 tsp ghee

Take 1/2 tsp cardamom powder

Take 1 pinch saffron
Make ready 1 tbsp mixed dry nuts chopped
Instructions to make Kesariya Sheer khurma:
Heat 1 tsp ghee in pan, add the vermicelli and saute for 1 minute or till they turn golden brown in colour.
Take a deep vessel and add 3 cups of milk and bring it to a boil
Add roasted vermicelli and mix well and cook on low flame for about 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, heat the remaining ghee in a kadhai and add the cashewnuts and almonds and saute till they turn golden brown in colour. Keep aside.
Add the chopped dates and sugar to the cooked milk-vermicelli mixture, mix well and simmer for 5 minutes.
The kheer is thickened now. Add the cardamon and saffron milk and mix well and remove from the flame.
Add the cashewnuts, almonds, pistachios and raisin and mix well.
Serve hot or chilled garnished with cashews, kismis, almonds pistachios and saffron… Enjoy! !!!!
